Holder Mibam assesses needs of communities of Bolivar

Caracas, February 26. ABN .- With the assistance of the owner of the Ministry of People's Power for Basic Industries and Mining (Mibam) and president of the Corporación Venezolana de Guayana (CVG), Rodolfo Sanz, took place one day in the communities of the municipality of Cedeño Bolivar state, with the primary objective to collect information on the needs of people who make life in the locality.
According to information provided by Mibam, the senior official noted that the activity, which was developed in the parish Los Pijiguaos, Bolivar state, was implemented with the purpose of evaluating social basis for generating policies aimed at raising the quality of life of the people in those places where they are located basic industries, assigned to the CVG.
The activity was held at the hall of the camp projections of the company CVG Bauxilum, where representatives of 12 councils presented the needs that exist in their communities, the dynamics and agreed to implement the survey.
Here, more than 300 surveys have been carried out in communities: Los Pijiguaos, Las Flores, Morichalito, V Republic, Germany and Villa El Guayabal, with the projected increase to 600 the number of households surveyed.
The survey was carried out by information officers and advisers of endogenous development Mibam conjunction with the communal councils.
Also present were a group of volunteers from the Women's Movement Manuelita Saez, which is providing support in the implementation of the survey in communities.
According to the information provided by the minister Sanz, the analysis tool used has revealed that the majority of people aspire to solve problems such as water, electricity, housing and health.
They also visited indigenous communities which include: Punta Brava (Piaroa), Cerro La Pina (Kurripaco) Simonero (Huottoja) Sabanita of Parguaza (Baniva), El Palomo (Mapoyo), San Jose, Morichalito (Piaroa ), Ekunay (Jivi), The Hit (Eñapa), intended to diagnose the needs of the inhabitants of these Aboriginal communities.
