guys this may or may not be off topic but it is an issue that has me scratching my head and i'd appreciate any thoughts.
snc lavalin with bmo was just awarded a 1/2 bil $ contract for services in venezuela...
as most of you that have been here awhile know:
sncl was the company that did the original "feasibility study" for kry and is grz's current epcm...
bmo has done financing/MM for kry and has been involved in rumors regarding kry buyout financing (i.e. polyus)
is there a connection there? lots of things are pointing toward some big developments in the mining sector in ven right now..imo
if i'm way off base let me know but i think $1/2bil contract to a canadian co to do irrigation in venezuela is a little extraordinary..especially since every venezuelan is born with a pre-disposition to irrigation....just ask the guys who put in my sprinkler system...
