The chairman of the Subcommittee on Mining and Business Basic, deputy Angel Marcano (Bolivar), announced that sought from the Standing Committee of Comptroller, among other government bodies, which were open an immediate investigation on alleged acts of corruption committed in the CVG Aluminios del Caroní SA (Alcasa).

"These are specific allegations that we have received. All are very serious, but that that will seize aluminum and traded illegally mandándolo abroad seems to us the most delicate, since it reflects an act of corruption affecting the Venezuelan State tremendously, "said Marcano.
