I agree that the technicals usually have very little bearing on one's decision of getting into a spec. And, yes, there is no doubt the KRY is a spec stock.

However, I think of Stochastic and MACD charts as trading tools. The Stochastic and MACD will follow the volume and price of a stock, whether it is a spec or not.

Stochastic and MACD are not forecasting tools, but are somewhat reliable indicators of when the big guys are getting in, or getting out, as well as indicating a good entry point or exit point.
