The only part of that that doesn't make sense to me is...Hugo takes the time to formally announce a furniture manufacturing facility and meat processing plant....but the largest gold mine on the planet is not on the official itinerary....just an afterthought?  I dunno...kind of sounds like the tail wagging the dog to me...
