i've read a lot of stuff about the artisanal miners screwing up the environment but i did'nt realize it released 2grams of mercury "vapor" to produce 1 gram of gold.....when you read the "environmentalist" articles they always talk about the big companies "stripping the forest"......the satelite pics of Las Christinas look like Beirut and they hav'nt dug the first oz....it's all been damage from the poor artisanal miners.....i say we all go down there..chain ourselves to some big heavy equipment and we dont leave til we have our gold!!!! WHO'S WITH ME!!!
