It does amaze me that traders will short a $2.50 cent stock. I can see that these traders are using the uncertainty of political events currently unfolding in VZ and while I recognize the uncertain environment could have some validity, all it will take is one small postive spark to set these short traders scrambling to cover; if this happens it could get very ugly very quickly for the shorts.
