I wanted to put mine into a TFSA or self directed RRSP. I was told that they would have to be put into a non registered account first. Seems then a value for disposition (tax purposes) could be established for the transfer. Once into the registered account they are treated as a common share. These shares can be sold inside the account or transfered out of the account depending on your tax preferences. You may or may not exercise the warrant within the registered account , however the shares are common shares and are treated as common shares whether on the CNSX, TSX-V or in our case not trading yet. Easiest way is drop into your closest bank branch and have them put into a self directed non registered trading account. If you do not have one at you bank you should get one. They can be transfered from there to any other trading account if you wish.

Just finished all that today. i chose a branch within walking distance. The financial advisor there was great and even filled out all the paper work, leaving just the signing to me. Took about 20 min.
