OVERALL PERFORMANCE

Cougar Minerals Corp. is an exploration stage company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of natural resource properties.

As at March 31, 2010 Cougar had $1,257,137 in cash or equivalents on hand ($889,764 - 2009). For the period ended March 31, 2010, the Company incurred a total loss of $310,992 as compared to a loss of $100,054 for the period ended March 31, 2009.

Subject to the results of ongoing exploration and development activities, the Company may require additional capital in the future to continue its exploration and development programs and the administrative costs associated with them. In addition to the results of ongoing programs, general trends in overall conditions of the mining industry will also affect the Company’s ability to raise capital.
