COUGAR EXTENDS EXPIRY DATE OF WARRANTS

Cougar Minerals Corp. has filed applications with the Canadian National Stock Exchange to extend warrants for 24 months. The company has applied to extend the warrants as follows.

Date of issuance: Dec. 28, 2007 Number of warrants: 5,925,000 Exercise price previous: 15 cents Expiry date: Dec. 28, 2009 New expiry date: Dec. 28, 2011

Date of issuance: Jan. 9, 2008 Number of warrants: 1.4 million Exercise price previous: 15 cents Expiry date: Jan. 9, 2010 New expiry date: Jan. 9, 2012
