I agree with what your saying 100% chappy. But the thing is that the offshore buyer wants the raw product. Especially the bitumen. The bitumen is high on the manufacture of plastics. As we all know a major portion of todays products are made of plastic. When the oil companies sell the oil in the raw form to buyers (which they have done) then that's the way it has to be shipped. I know it doesn't sound like good economics to us, but that's the way things are done in this world. AB ships potatoes to ID . and Id ships potatoes to AB. We ship raw product to China, so we can get cheap products on our store shelves. And the world keeps spinning and we the people have little to say about it. Frustrating sometimes. :)
