Further to Dix, who has what looks to be an insurmountable lead in the polls, obviously most of us would feel reassured if he was signing the praises of the mining industry and how it is a key to B.C.'s economic future. Clearly he is not doing that.

Does it mean he'll be anti-mining or throw up roadblocks? That's difficult to say based on what his statements in the media so far, IMO.
