All that environmental risk (fish, caribou) for a mine that will only last 12 years? Empty a lake and turn it into a pit? Not going to happen. The tailings are proposed to be dry stacked and "kept frozen". What about summer thaw and global warming which is more pronounced in the artic? Good luck.
