I think they've come up with some sort of deal now...details later.

I kind of thought it might be good for their economy to go off that cliff. Well, in the long-term. They don't seem to have high taxes and given the debt you would think they would raise them at least on people earning over $250K. Also cutting spending seems like a good idea, except for the social programs of course.

Anyway, it looks like the little people were going to bear the brunt of the burden while they argued for tax breaks for people earning over $1 million. Ridiculous.
