What do you think will happen in those big cities when the meds get cut off (for any reason)? Apparently no one seems willing to acknowledge the % of people on these drugs.

Well I don't imagine good things will happen, but it has a lot more to do than just drugs. Therapy, living conditions, education, culture all play a role for both those affected and those that don't, especially policy makers. I think drugs are important, but to focus soley on them does a disservice to everyone. Need a multi-prongged approach. For some, life style change is more important than getting drugs while others need to get it that aren't on it (especially amongst some homeless people).
