It was a grammar nazi joke. Analyzed is what may have been done, i.e. a methodical examination in depth. opposed to "analized" which has the root word "anal" possibly implying some sort of penetration in the anus joke. The title "They were like that when I got there" is something one might say when being accused of "analizing" something.
