bablitz, the companies I've mentioned here on the OT forum previously are extremely speculative although they're the ones I hope will make me rich one day (besides CUU!). But the following are four of my favourite "safe" dividend payers; I've held them for a long time, so you should definitely do your own DD. Their SP goes up and goes down like any other stock so it's wise to choose your moment to dive in, as difficult as that is, but they've kept on paying a healthy dividend or distribution over the years.

WesternOne Equity Income Fund (WEQ-UN.TO)
