This would be "off topic" years ago, but we have nothing going on with CUU of any significance so what the H-E-double hockey sticks.
There appears to be growing sentiment that China, where economic malaise has been the order of the day for several months, is on the verge of enduring a market meltdown. This would be grave news for North American markets and commodities, including copper.
So, you know, sitting around waiting for years and years can have some positive effect (copper prices rising), but also runs the risk of black swan events that cause markets to collapse. Maybe we enter that territory, maybe we don't. But keep an eye on things. We could be in for a rough ride.
