To get to $2 a share we would need about $850 million u.s. I stand to be corrected but I believe someone figured out that using new long term numbers the value would be over $400 million. Add in 100% of the reserves and it gets over $500 million.
The meta studies should increase the production numbers and new drilling should extend the mine life. IMO the numbers should be around $700 million or perhaps a bit more if you add in the carried to production value, and milestone payments.
$800 million seems high but you never know. To me the biggest problem is Tecks slow playing the value for a decade. Tough to justify a $800 million buyout of a jr jv partner to the board or the investing public. The key will be how Teck publicizes the new info and whether they shine a spotlight on SC.
