After the Glencore takeover offer, Teck changed the revenue transfer forom coal to metals to 3 years. Once that is over, I would expect Teck would sell Elk Valley Resources.

Agreed. This way of getting out of Don Linsday's coal adventure is the one which realizes the most $ for shareholders/insiders. Especially since the profits fund the metals side until its up and running on its own.
