Elmer would have to know by now whether the SCJV re-applied (or not) for a permit or extention.   If his answer is "Do not know yet" then I guess you would have to read between the lines at this stage and interpret that as a "No" answer to your question.  

Not sure that one answer or the other tells us that much.    If TECK renews for five years that kind of sounds good that they seek to increase value but they barely got drills turning during the last 5 years.  It can also sound like they are not satisfied with economics or risks, and/or they are signaling that they not done trying to demoralize us and starve us out.  

If TECK does not renew, it could look like disinterest, or to some here it could sound like TECK is ready to make a decision on advancing the project to the next stage. i.e. No need to drill more if you have seen enough.

IDK, maybe I am just getting tired of trying to read "the cuu tea leaves" in this lengthy material news dearth.
