"If the buyout price will be $1 or maybe even $2, why so few people are buying cuu stocks for the current price that is below 20 cents?"

The value is there.  BUT, non-insiders (us and the public) have been demoralized into a depression by management's monetization incompetence over the last one and half decades.  With that track record no one wants to touch what looks like an idle, forgotten, rotting, hairy banana.  The $1 or $2 is based on underlying value of the assets.  By the time they step up their game and get it done, shareholders may have to wait another 15 years or more.

"Or, maybe even better question, why EE is not buying for this low price if the buyout will be five or ten fold of the current price? Why Elmer is not buying? Do you think that is strange?"

Despite their inability or unwillingness to convert value into money, insiders know the value of what  they are sitting on.  Too bad its just sitting.  To them, a super-low share price offers them an opportunity to grab more and more of the pie.   They can more effectively dilute and squeeze out non-insiders (us) into oblivion with the hand-out to themselves of tens of million of shares from PP's attaching juicy warrants all issued at ridiculously depressed give-away prices.   Ernesto wasn't even opening the give-away PPs to minority shareholders until someone complained about the piggish share grab.

Here's the rub.  In this thinly-traded and abandonned stock, you can't buy tens of millions of shares in the market without sending the SP to the moon so why would insiders with the above objective buy in the market, run up the price and ruin the opportunity of grabbing more of the pie?

I challenge Ernesto to first dedicate just 10-20% of his intended PP investment towards buying shares in the market over say a week's time.  Only then should the PP be priced at the market.

All just my humble opinion.
