YN >Let's pray that there's no rain or fog that impedes their progress and leaves with with 500 metres of drill results instead!
In that interview this morning with Elmer he alludes to the difficulty of working at Schaft Creek. Short season and service crews not showing up. Well I have worked in that area before and can tell you it is not much different than most places in this province. It is not on the moon. In fact it is close to the ocean and has a milder climate. Telegraph Creek is a hop and skip away and can grow crops that don't grow in other regions of BC.
You don't have to wait til June to start work there. And you have long daylight hours in the summer. Explorers need to book the drill crews usually two years ahead but Teck should not have that problem. He mentions the problem of not having a road to the camp. Well friggin Duh. Teck has been in control for how long and have not put in a road???
