12 years of good news is leaving me numb
Exactly this. There was a time, around 2010 or 2011, when drill results like these from moose pasture that would likely never host a mine would cause some micro-cap stock to jump 40%.
CUU, on the other hand, is sitting on "one of the largest undeveloped porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum-silver deposits in North America." And these days, impressive drill results don't even budge our share price. It's because of management's poor handling of affairs over the past decade and putting us in this position where we are at Teck's mercy.
Although we have a massive float, the longs have held their shares so tightly that it doesn't take much to cause a run up. We've seen it a number of times. Back in our heyday, it was some anonymous deep-pocketed investor through Stifel who was largely propelling us upwards.
We haven't been able to attract an investor like that in years and years. Not even one! How absolutely pathetic is that???
