I have no reason to be positive based on Mgmt and Teck's actions to date.
any movement is sp had zero to do with any mgmt actions. We waited how many years for the PEA? What did Elmer do with that material event? Put out a standard pr, no Twitter, no mgmt discussion call, no marketing build up. Nada. The sp should have gone parabolic with adding that much value on paper. They are budgeting $2500 on a new marketing team and think that's a big deal.
we are hugely undervalued but only worth what someone will pay and we have nobody with the chops to attract majors or take Teck to task.
happy to plod along at Teck's pace collecting a pay stub every two weeks drilling holes for eternity. What is the trigger for them to say enough?
if not for EE, Elmer and board should have been gone long ago. A large shareholders or group of us would have bundled shares and pushed a seat onto the board to drive change.
this is a multi year story of what the wrong mgmt does to a company with a singular shareholder in control who seems to be as equally complacent.
sp is following the market not mgmt progress. Funny Elmer has said repeatedly we don't care about the sp, now last week they do? Where have you been the last 13 years?
how do any of you expect a bidding war if we are not selling our PEA to other majors? Has Elmer ever gone to bay street and presented our pea to investors? Even tried?
Teck will announce a summer drilling program, Elmer will be excited about it of course, m&a will be happen all around us and we'll be sitting here 12 months from now waiting on further drilling results. Can't leave anything on the table right? I've talked to Elmer more than any of you chirping at me. He hasn't followed through or executed on a single thing he committed himself to in 14 years. You can't possibly be that wrong that many times. Investors have no confidence in him and won't put their money behind him. I'm talking non retail.
I recall an agm in maybe 2015 where he said that year they were actively trying to sell SC. Still not there today. We're worth more for sure but only worth what one party may or may not be willing to pay if at all.
