Eight years of periodic arguments with the wife: "What the hell did you put so much money into that for? What were you thinking???"

Eight years of watching other opportunities pass us by.

Eight years of a roller coaster as we allow ourselves to be convinced over and over that the latest share price movement is FINALLY meaningful this time and the end game is just around the corner. 

I'm 48. This investment has made me feel like 70 or 80. I sure as hell hope all of us see a return on this stock that makes our purchases worthwhile, but the amount of that needed payoff grows with each passing day.
