China "jawboned" the market recently when they said they'd release metal from their stratgic reserves, and placed trading restrictions on metals futures speculation.  Now, whether they actually release metal or not, doesn't matter.  Price down, mission accomplished.

So the FED/Jay Powell announces yesterday that they "may just think about, thinking about raising interest rates"  .... in 2023.  And that was enough cover to destroy gold and silver especially on the COMEX futures, along with copper.  CUU shares are along for the ride down, nothing more.

That's how a market operation is conducted by the big boys folks.
