Excluding inferred, if we only consider pounds in the ground, I believe Teck sold around 3.4Blbs of CuEq to Sumitomo for 1.2B US. That's $0.35 US per pound of M&I resource.
Including inferred, if we only consider pounds in the ground, I believe Teck sold around 10Blbs of CuEq to Sumitomo for 1.2B US. That's $0.12 US per pound of M&I resource + inferred.
If our 25% of SC is 3Blbs of M&I, at $0.35 per pound, that's 1B US.
If our 25% of SC is 4Blbs of M&I + inferred, at $0.12 per pound, that's around 500M US.
How much do you value each pound of M&I vs. inferred? M&I is probably worth a lot more.
Regardless the above, the PEA will put a current value on Schaft Creek and this figure should be the starting point for negociations.
IMO.
