Just think about... your Teck and need 1.2B CAD to finance the remaining capex for SC and you have two options.

 

Option 1: Sell 30% of the project for 1.2B CAD

Option 2: Stream 3.5 years of gold (3.5 years x 247 000 ounces x $1060US x 1.3) = approximately 1.2B CAD

 

Option 1: You are leaving at minimum 7B+ on the table (30% of 21B+ profit)

Option 2: You are leaving around 1B of future gold revenues on the table.
