Capstone is also looking to stream 283K ounces of gold for around $300M US to finance their Santo Domingo project in Chile.  That's $1060 US per ounce!

Does Teck really need a partner to finance Schaft Creek?  Why give away 25-30% of a district when you can stream 7 years of gold (1.73M ounces) for close to 2B US?

If they finance 50-60% of SC with debt, they wouldn't even need to stream 7 years of gold... probably not even 5 years... and they would own 100% after that period.
