No idea really. They could certainly do a Galore/Schaft combo as you suggest. i recall this was discussed years ago and someone posed this question to Elmer who said it wasn't that good of a fit for many reasons. Something about acidity in the ores from each place being different, etc. I don't recall the exact details. But that's perhaps only from a gelogical perspective, it may make sense to combine them in a deal, and if the mining activities themselves need to be different then perhaps that doesn't prevent the corporate bundling of the two together.

If Teck did something like this before, what was the result?
