How could they have done anything with SC back then when their priority was to keep funding FortHills and servicing their debt while all commodities where tanking and their shareprice at $5,how would shareholders react to that news buying out SC or just even announcing a product decision and what the costs that would come with that while cutting sharehoders dividend they would have the boards head.Now with FH completed and all commodities much higher and with their debt under control now would be the optimal time to move on SC. They knew where the market for commodities was heading in 2013 on the signing of the JV and it wasn't pretty what was coming their way. The time is now to act in getting SC better yet the whole company sold. I'm not trying to make excuses for either Teck or CF but that was the position that they found themselves at that point.
