Though i'm long in CUU this is my first post. I'm from France so sorry if my English is not oke.

Recently i read this forum. As many of you i'm very disappointed in which things develop, but i don't believe Teck is mothballing us. That doesn't make sense. Teck is a commercial company working for shareholdes value. I don't believe they are mothballing CUU, just to get a better (lower) price for the 25% and losing the moment. But what holds Teck to make a decision about the moment of production? SC is interesting enough for Teck for future production, if not we would already know (Teck would be obliged to communicate this decision to CUU), they wouldn't spend a dime on SC, but they did en still do.  In an earlier post (i think from ExplorationGuy) is was mentioned Teck is looking for (a) partner(s) to corporate. When Teck is preacing they are looking for a partner, i think they have already found a partner for the production of the largest mines (GC and SC) and now they are negotiating about the terms of their partnership. When you are a listed company you say things when you're sure about it.  And then again, you make a production decision when both partners agree of the way of working. So, now Teck makes a study/survey how to start production en it's on both of the parties to make a choise. So, i think (but it's just my opnion) that Teck is negotiatin with a partner and this particular partner will buy CUU out of the JV. And i believe CUU knows this and is just waiting for that moment.

Otherwise, if Teck leaves CUU in doubt about a production decision, CUU has the possibility (as far as i know, but perhaps i'm wrong and CUU is forbidden to sell her share??? then please let me know) to sell SC or sell the whole CUU company to a third (major) party. Teck wouldn't like this because they don't want to corporate with a party they didn't choose by themselves.  Will a major party be interested in SC? Ofcourse, a major party knows Teck will, one day in future, take SC into production and majors do have the money and the patience (time). It's a gift for a major. They will buy a 25% stake in a mine that is ready to produce at relative low costs (no costs of survey, PEA's or something like that). So i believe it's very important for Teck to prevent CUU would sell her 25% stake to a third party. Teck communicated SC is under care and maintenance. As long as there's no deal with another partner it stays under care and maintenance. At least, that's what is think. But i also believe things are in progress and 2018 might be the year.
