CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
No, I said, with respect to Spitfire's concerns about the amount Teck was spending to buy back their own shares "I don't see any connection between these expenditures and SC."
I also said we won't get anywhere near that amount for SC from Teck based on recent acquisitions they have made for projects at the same stage of development as SC. The acquisition of AQM gives me a share value of $ 0.29 for CUU when I calculate how much Teck paid per lb of CUeq and then added the remaining value in the JV. That's the market value based on similar transactions. If Elmer can convince Teck to accept a different valuation then good for him. As an investor I can't risk my valuation is wrong on the high side so I've averaged down to a point that gives me a better chance of making money on this stock. I've posted before what I estimate to be EE's average price ($0.175) . He's invested $ 40 million to date, if Teck offered him $ 60 million(50% ROI) are you sure he wouldn't take it? That's about 25 cents a share. I don't know if my valuation is correct so I protect the downside and wait to see the outcome.
