I sure hope the last few words of your post don't come back to haunt us. It has been almost 10 years for me in CUU and I really don't want to wait until we get a more mining friendly government to get a deal. 

The NDP and Greens do seem to be focused on killing oil at the moment though so that may bode well for the copper mines needed to build all those electric cars, locomotives, airliners etc that are all going to start running on electric power all of a sudden.
