Just something I was thinking about and emailed another poster:

Something to remember. Teck and BC Hydro are partners. They own the Waneta Dam on the Pend Oreille River just outside Trail BC. It produced 450 MW of power and has recently gone through an upgrade raising that by another 335 MW.. Teck sold BC Hydro 33% of the dam in 2009 so the two are actually business partners. I'm sure they can get power or back on the list anytime they like.
