Doesn't look like much happened around here today. Can't remember it being this slow in a long time.
In the rest of the world though, Chile had an 8.3 magnitude earthquake north of Santiago but it appears quite south of the big copper mines. (Not to be callous but I always wonder where the copper is in a natural disaster. It's been a big year for interruptions already.) The people I'm hearing from are saying there wasn't a lot of damage but the coastline is evacuating for the tsunami. In a best case scenario, nobody gets hurt but even so the evacuations cause mine interruptions while the labour are heading to high ground.
Also, I found this really interesting. Integra Gold has launched an open-source competition to review their drill results and other documents and find the next big gold find. Maybe while we're waiting we could look for gold: https://herox.com/IntegraGoldRush
The individual or group whose submission represents the best prospect for the next big gold discovery on the Sigma/Lamaque properties, based on a weighted set of criteria as outlined in the challenge rules, wins their share of the C$1 million prize.
