This may be what Teck is envisoning for Highland Valley?

From a friend that works there, Teck has recently completed a significant (~$800 million) mill expansion and they have explored the opposing side of the valley and found decades more copper over there.

Second pit sharing the same mill infrastructure? Sounds like Whittle?

This would improve project economics significantly, but I hope they don't wait to fully develop the new zone before revising the FS. Hopefully poke some exploratory holes and that is good enough to start, then explore further as the SC pit is in production.
