Cost per pound at that mine:

Copper production in 2015 is expected to be 240-260 million pounds at C1 cash costs of $1.65-$1.95 per pound and C3 fully allocated costs of $2.00-$2.30 per pound.

Pretty high...don't you think?


Compared to SC? Yeah. And yet Teck still lusts for copper it can get its hands on right away, even with prices as low as they are now. Don Lindsay must be convinced there is a bright future for the metal, and Ernesto must be equally convinced that someone will give him his asking price someday.
