hoghead, that’s a reasonable question but I see it as a win/win either way. Either we’ll sell our share of the JV at a price which will be enough to give us a positive return on our investment, sufficient that most if not all, I’m guessing, will be happy. Or Copper Fox can choose to enjoy the fruits of production along with Teck (unlikely but that’s just my opinion) and, over the long term, make much, much more. In other words, a smaller lump sum in the short term, or a larger amount incrementally spread over the long term. What’s your preference? (rhetorical)
And, by the way, thanks youngmoney, for providing a detailed explanation as to why a shorter initial mine life is something to be welcomed, not feared. If it doesn’t sink in now… :-)
