Baring meant that you buy a company's shares when they are 10% or below in-situ value. You sell those shares, always, when they reach 80% of in-situ value.

If in-situ value is $1.00 and the shares are trading at .10 or < its a buy because its undervalued. When the shares get to .80, or 80% of in-situ value, you sell them because quite frankly its approaching overvalued territory and you need to take your profits.
