That's great,I have no problem people voicing one or the other opinion it's when one poster comes up with some information and posts and the next post is from our "friends" and shoots it down. Why do you think so many stopped posting they would put up credible info to have the pac of wolves shred it apart While not a big fan of vettes exuberance at times he provide understandable info for many and in return would be ridiculed.

I think a fairer analogy would be someone says "hey, that article made some really unrealistic statements and was very biased to the positive - a paid fluff piece so to speak" and then a pack of wolves try to shred apart the posters credibility instead of rebutting his statement.
I asked you several times whether you support the article and why, but no response on that? Why?
I can only assume that you really do agree with me, but don't like it that it was I that pointed out the flaws?
Golf posted some great info from the carmax presentation (that I was unaware of earlier) suppporting a more positive look at carmax (pit model already being taken into consideration, etc).
That is what we are here for. Discussion, learning the other side, debating...

He posted with references to where he got that information, pretty well supported info - what was to rip apart? It was a good post. I learned more about carmax yesterday. Thats why I'm here...
I still feel that the article that we were discussing is a fluff piece, but I have an improved opinion of carmax due to the one post discussion yesterday.
If we could just post about the issues and not about the posters credibility, agenda or what hidden intentions they must have this board will revert back from a more polite version of SH to a place to freely discuss the investment?
