The problem with these articles is that for every positive opinion there is one that is not so positive. It all depends on the taste of the day I guess.
I don't really think so. The article you quoted is showing the general thoughts about the near future of copper pricing/supply. That seems to change daily and regionally, mostly depending on what China says or does.
What I am talking about is the situation in four years or so. There seems to be a consistent belief that in the future there will be a copper shortage. We haven't been reading many articles talking about the coming shortage but I am starting to see it more often.
Yesterday I read something that said this year wasn't going to be a surplus after all, but next year for sure! Every year it is the same.
