One has to raise the question to ones self if SC isn't going to be a mine like some believe then why would one be invested in CF and posting on their message board,I doubt very much it is for DF or NF. It's like If I was in an abusive relationship would I stick around that it might get better someday maybe in 10,20 years the hell with that I'd be gone. But I believe this will be a mine.
====================
Licorice, I can only assume that your last two posts are directed at me...
I have not said this will never be a mine and I still hold my shares because I do hold hope that something will happen. My shares are worth so much less than my $1.17 average that I might as well hold and hope for better than here. The investment is essentially lost for me already so why not see what happens.
I have not discounted other intelligent posters take on what may be in the works. Prospekt is a great example of a poster that is confident good things are coming and can back up her stance with facts and figures and plausible reasoning. I truly hope she is right. Dont confuse my dissatifaction with the way things are going with bashing. I am voicing concerns I would like to have answers for from either the company or from other posters here. Dont kid yourself, this is a significant part of my investment portfolio, but joining the chorus saying all is well is futile...
I cant understand why you wont even consider that this may not be developed in the near term. Constant postings that all is rosy and a sure thing over the last three years has gotten us where exactly.
Would I prefer a more conservative approach - sure. Are you happy and confident with where we are sitting (I know you are). Explain why... but dont take offense because others may have concerns or are not happy with the last 3 years performance. Instead of trying to dismiss someone as a basher maybe try and de-risk the risks put forward. Keep both eyes open. We have no reason to assume anything anymore, as nobody (even me) thought we would be where we are now.
A poster on another board pointed out some concerns added to the Aug 7 news release. In the Cautionary Notes section twice it is mentioned that we may not be able to be connected to the NTL, as well as the possible need to obtain additional financing. I was not aware of these additions until today - but maybe my concerns about burn rate has some merit. In the past some of these additions to the notes have came true to bite us.
As a shareholder yourself, you should want answers to these and any other concerns that could affect your investment. It shouldnt be something to fear.
Please realize that no new investors will happen upon this board and buy because of what is discussed here. The market is much more careful now, investors dont jump in so easily. Discussing possible problems is not going to scare any new investors - there is no way. So why not have an intelligent discussion - unless the though of anything going wrong is keeping you from sleeping or something.
This board shouldnt be used as group therapy...
By the way - who or what is DF or NF. Thats got me baffled.
