There is a lot of talk about there being a deficit in copper now in late 2016.

Funds are starting to buy now in anticipation. They are not short-term investors but mid-term of 2-5 years.

I saw an analyst calling for a "buy" on Teck recently and that hasn't happened in awhile.

There seems to be concensus that the bottom has set in and it is going to have to go up by late 2016 anyway just because there won't be any supply. Logically it will start to climb now as the bets are placed in anticipation.

One analyst was saying they prefer "clean" copper buys that don't have any exposure to other metals. I remember when they used to say that about gold. Companies that only produced gold always got a premium over companies with multiple metals.

I sure hope we get out of this soon enough to benefit. Elmer said something about the Fall being a time when he thought there might be a rush on acquisitions again and it is starting to look like he might be right if this general sentiment continues.

CG, I appreciate the comments from your fly-over. It is possible they might get a drill going for technical purposes this year. Cathy told me some time ago that they were going to do some work on site. The optimization studies might have shown a need for some further information. At least they are working away at this.
