LME stock levels are at 165,725 the lowest levels since 2008.

The investigation into the copper that is warehoused and thought to be used as collateral for more than one deal totals 20,000 tons, or less than a day of Chinese demand.

There is potentially 290,000 tons being used for collateral that could flow out of China into the market. This represents 1.3% of supply.
