This isn't a joke. If Copper Fox bought 20 million shares with an equal number of options then they own a certain percentage of Carmax. If EE bought, for himself, an equivalent amount what percentage of the company does he now own? Does this dilute our ownership?
EE's interests and our own are aligned in CUU, but what about in Carmax? Obviously it would be a good sign if EE bought shares in Carmax as well, but how is it possible he would buy an equivalent amount to our own? That would imply that someone would give up about half the outstanding number of shares, unless more shares were issued--and that would dilute us by half already.
This isn't the second tranche of 4 million non-brokered shares. That I could well believe he would buy. If he did buy 20 million shares, then we really should try and understand where that leaves us.
