From the Teck Web Site regarding Galore Creek: "Due to escalating cost estimates and longer-than-anticipated construction schedule, development activities were suspended in November, 2007". It then goes on to say, "A small technical work program at Galore Creek is planned for 2014 to incorporate the results of recent drilling activity and engineering studies, with no significant field activity planned." When I read this and then I read the CUU news release last week, I feel like we are the priority project without any doubt. If we can get the optimization studies done by autumn, we are then looking at production decision time. Galore seems to be in holding pattern compared to us. Glad I read it. Made me feel reassured.
