I believe Teck is very interested....Mike is simply saying that Teck must pay a fair price right now or CUU is lining up a buyer to be Teck's new SC partner.

That isn't what DC14 said. He said: He said he doesn't expect Teck to buy-out CUU's 25%. Would be too much for them and he expects to be taken out by a Chinese buyer.

I understand how a right of first offer works, what I'm saying is if Teck is not interested in paying the ask price to buy us out why is a right of first offer important, as Mike said? It becomes irrelevant.

The two points don't mutually coexist, either the right of first offer is important because we want to force Teck's hand, or Teck is not interested anyway and we'll be looking for another buyer.
