No one will be bothered or offended as both parties (Tahltans and Teck) have offices and people dedicated for inquiries.

I don't think that can be assumed. The letter that was printed from the Tahltan was signed by the President of the Executive Council. (On another board, since removed.)

The letter from BC Ministry of the Environment today was also asked to be removed by the letter writer.

I would echo Hoghead's worry that we not harass people, especially the Tahltan. They aren't going to say anything private so it won't give us any information, and it may irritate them. There doesn't seem to be anything to gain, and something to lose.

Something to bear in mind, when someone corresponds with you that doesn't give you the right to publish the letter. People need specific permission to publish letters that have been written to them and that includes on the internet. It is covered under copyright laws. Not that anyone would likely make a big legal production out of it, but most people might prefer that their correspondence not be published without their knowing about it.
